A Poem for my Grandson. “Eating Boogers” by Nana

Gentle Readers, I promised you a post about our awesome dog today, but the muse led to boogers.  This is the second poem for Tate’s book.  Yummy Illustration to follow

Jackie Milacky always picks her nose.

She pulls out boogers and lays them in rows.

Then one by one she eats them all up

She says they taste like pancake syrup.

I had my doubts, they don’t look very tasty.

But maybe my judgment was a bit hasty.

So yesterday at lunch I picked a few,

put them in my mouth and began to chew.

EEK, YUCK, UGH and P U!

NEVER AGAIN I’M TELLING YOU!
